January 2012 Newsletter Published
We are going to be publishing a monthly newsletter this year (one each month except the July/August issue will be consolidated.) You can view the newsletter here. There is an Easter Egg in the newsletter and there is a prize for the first person who fulfills the requests. Life is now, not way off in the future. Love is now. God is now. We are a movement that opens hearts to experience peace and joy today right where we are because of Jesus Christ. Following his teaching to love God and neighbor, we proclaim the Good News that God desires peaceful joyful lives for us, our communities, our world. It is called the Kingdom of God. Our lives can be blessing for those who hunger in body and spirit, who hunger for friendship and understanding. Jesus gives us this vision and in pursuit of this, we ponder his teaching, we celebrate Baptism and the Holy Eucharist (also called Holy Communion) and we imitate his service to others. The Resurrection is not about pie in the sky, it is about living a new life NOW. Come follow Jesus Christ with us and begin the exciting journey to fuller life for everyone NOW!
